What will happen if you get caught smuggling cigarettes in Ontario then fail to appear for court?
my friend got caught smuggling cigarettes in Ontario, Canada twice and was let go but given a court date. He failed to appear and its been almost a year now. The cops recently found him and arrested him but now what will happen? would he do time? and how long would he have to wait for a new court date incase they kept him until then.
