My Wooden Desk Smells Like Cigarette Smoke
I just purchased a used office desk. It is solid wood. I did not realize that smelled so badly of cigarette smoke until they surrendered and is now sitting in my home for non-smokers. Murphy’s Oil Soap Work? I request you to help me like the desktop, but I will not be able to keep it if I can not get rid of the smell.

Since there is probably a “film” of smoke on the desk, use the Murphy’s Oil Soap on the exterior, and inside of drawers, and when dry, Place a newspaper with charcoal briquetes on it, in the drawers and change them every few days. They will absorb the odor and leave it smelling clean and fresh.
It’s what I did and it worked perfectly.
Hope this helps !
