The first Forman´s movie after he left Czechoslovakia. This movie is very much done the way he did his Czech movies that made him famous. Unfortunately, Taking Off didn´t do well commercially and Forman “had” to change to appeal to American audience. Anyway, he is a great man. The whole movie is here on youtube and it is worth watching
