Stop Smoking Help

Is there a way to get what appears to be cigarette burns out of what I think is a corean (sp?) counter top? The countertop is that plasticy looking stuff… sort of half plastic / half marble looking. I think it’s corean (not sure how to spell that). We just bought this house so I’m not sure. I don’t think it’s a curling iron burn… pretty sure it’s from cigarettes. Can it be buffed out or something?

I just can’t figure out why so many people are focused on cigarette smoke while they motor around pumping toxins into the air.
Is second hand smoke a moot issue in the big picture of health issues?

FYI - I went fourteen years without a car, and it wasn’t bad at all.

I posted this previously but the question did not come out correctly and I couldn’t get proper answers. A lit cigarette went to my backseat (leather) and burnt a small hole in it. Its in a spot thats hard to see and cosmetically its hard to find. However i was wondering if it gets worse over time (like the hole getting bigger). Or if i leave it alone will it be the same say within a year or two?

I can’t locate the right fuse. The cigarette lighter doesn’t work. And if the fuse turns out not to be the problem, how else would I go about fixing it?

A piece of an FM Transmitter is stuck in my car cigarette lighter. Basically, it was meant to charge through the lighter, and broke, leaving half of the adapter portion stuck in the socket. I could reach in to touch it, but no parts are sticking out. Also, it appears what is in there is metal. What is the safest way to get this out?

I’m trying to get the GPS in my car to work, but it only charges through the cigarette lighter, which does not work…can it be fixed?
And if so, how much would it cost to have it fixed?

I am looking for a car and the best candidate has a obvious cigarette smell inside.

The heat has been on for about a month, so I don’t think it is just initial dust. I’ve tried vacuuming them, but I haven’t opened them up to really clean them out yet. The smell is sort of like cigarette smoke. All my clothes smell now. We are renting, so limited in what we can do. I am pretty sure we have oil heat (we only moved in a few months ago and heat is included).

I’ve been looking into the twin draft guard and foam gasket tape for my bedroom door. Is this sufficient? Are door sweeps more effective? I already have an air filter in my bedroom but I still wake up at 4 AM to the smell of cigarette smoke. Any ideas I haven’t thought of?
I moved in with the understanding that they are only allowed to smoke inside after 9 PM as it is too cold outside. I’m not really in a position to make any demands after moving in with that understanding.

I have a small cigarette burn mark on the upholstery in my car. It’s very small and I want to conceal before I sell it. Is there anything that can do this?
